About me and my therapy practice
Free 20 minute consultation
This can be done online, or via a telephone call. In this first meeting the aim is to know if we are a good fit for therapeutic work together.
I advise people to search and speak with more than one counsellor before starting work together. I will advise you on areas which will work, and those which may included referrals.

During counselling you’ll have time and space just to be. It’s a place where you can explore and learn who you really are and grow into the authentic you.
As you learn to connect with your inner self, exploring your life so far, experiences, thoughts and feelings, we’ll guide you through.
And you’ll grow in self-awareness finding meaning in the things that have happened to you.We all experience life differently. Perhaps you weren’t nurtured well as you grew up or you’ve endured a difficult relationship meaning your emotional, physical and mental needs were not met. Trauma and abuse may also have featured, and now life is hard.
You may feel uncomfortable (or it may not be appropriate) to share your reality with friends, family or colleagues, but that’s where counselling can help. At Sweet Mental Health, as well as providing you with a safe space to talk, we use a wealth of scientific information to support your emotional, mental and physical development.
I provide a safe, comfortable space where you’re free to share what matters most, explore who you are and nurture better mental health.
I’ll help you build hope, resolve your difficulties and find meaning in the things that are happening to you. And you’ll experience positive change.
