About me and my therapy practice
I believe that all humans are good and have the capacity to change and grow.
The world around us is always changing and how we adapt to that can be a source of stress and joy. My philosophy is based on the fact that everyone is a good person at their core and has the capacity to change both themselves and circumstances (within their control) to find peace.
I work relationally, which means I believe that change happens in and through relationships.
How we experience the world (our relationship with ourself and others) and how others experience us impacts on our identity, our actions and our sense of ease of being in the world.

I embrace difference and diversity.
We all have different ways of experiencing the world. Understanding and empathising with how you experience the world is a key part of my relational and person-entered approach. I work with people of all gender’s and sexualities and all ages (16+), races, religions and ethnicities. For legal reason’s clients must be based in the UK for my online counselling.
Practice description
My hope is that by working together, we can create a more fulfilling and meaningful life for you.
This is fundamental to how I work. I will listen to and respect your life events to understand how they have shaped your experience of the world. This shared understanding becomes the starting point from where, together we can look at any changes you would like to make.
I believe that finding purpose and meaning in life builds self-confidence and can lead to a more content life. Fundamentally, finding meaning is about knowing who you are, your values and what is most important to you.
I listen deeply using care and empathy and support you in your unique personal journey in therapy.
I listen in a person-centered way using all my senses, attention and intuition in such a way so that I hope you feel seen and cared about. When the relationship clicks and I can listen deeply so that you know I have heard and understood, it is a powerful shared moment.
My first session
The first session is usually an assessment where I gather some information from you about why you have chosen to come to therapy at this time. This session checks mutual compatibility and is an opportunity for you to find out about how I work.
If you chose to proceed, the first counselling session will begin at your pace with regular reviews to make sure that the aims and expectations for counselling are being met.
