About me and my therapy practiceHi. I’m an integrative counselling psychotherapist, offering both long and short term therapy both in person or online. My approach is with warmth and care; I understand how things build up until life feels completely overwhelming. For over ten years I have worked intensively with people facing anxiety, and depression, drug and alcohol issues, and those recovering from domestic and sexual abuse. I believe that finding the right therapist is essential, so I always suggest a free 30 minute session to see if you feel comfortable with me.
I offer concessionary rates for counselling students.
Face to face sessions take place in a discreet rural location on the outskirts of Darlington where there is ample parking.
My first session
Prior to our first full session, I offer a free discussion by phone or an appropriate on line face to face platform. This allows us to meet without obligation and talk about what you are looking for and for you to ask any questions about how I work.
At our first session, we will agree and sign a contract to work together.
