About me and my therapy practice
My previous background was in social work and I was both qualified and registered. I gained a Diploma in Integrative Counselling in July 2001, a Postgraduate Certificate in Practice-Based Play Therapy in February 2005. In July 2005 I became Accredited with BACP and I am also Registered.
Practice description
I work in a private room within a block of offices which has car parking facilities. There is a separate waiting area and kitchen facilities for someone accompanying the client.
My first session
With my Employee Assistance Programme work there are several forms which have to be completed at the first session.
With my private work an initial assessment is undertaken to assess whether the client is happy to continue working with me.
