About me and my therapy practice
Hello and thankyou for taking the time to read about my services and how I can support you or your loved ones. I understand it’s not easy choosing a therapist.
There are many reasons for entering into counselling but there is no problem too big or too small. Every worry or concern is valued and treated with confidentiality and respect. I understand this step can be daunting but it is a positive step that you are ready to think about the issues that you are battling with. Whatever is on your mind, I am committed to providing you with emotional support when you need it the most. It is a time to reflect, explore and gently challenge painful thoughts. Importantly, it is a time for you. A chance to be heard and understood. Recognising you and your needs in a world that can feel stressful and lonely.
You don't need to go through this alone.
What is counselling?
Gently, we can work through the issues that are holding you back, allowing clarity and the opportunity for you to move forward in your life. We will talk, explore and reflect on your thoughts and feelings, making positive life choices and finding peace with self.
The very first time we meet will be for an initial assessment appointment. In this session we have the opportunity to discuss
• why you would like therapy
• what you would like to achieve in therapy
• any information or details about yourself that you think is important in therapy
• any questions about therapy or the process
• how you feel about working with me as your therapist
Fees for assessments sessions are £40
