Hi, I'm Claire.

I offer counselling and psychotherapy face to face, via Zoom, telephone, email, or home visits.

I am based in Sale, South Manchester.

I have been a practicing therapist for 10 years. I like to work in an outcome driven style. This will allow you to feel better both physically and emotionally quickly, on your journey to become the best version of yourself.

I specialise in stress and anxiety management, low/mood depression, procrastination, and professional performance.

I have expertise in working with Neurodivergent individuals. With a focus on initial diagnosis and management of the condition thereafter.

I am a trauma informed therapist, and have experience of personal and professional exposure to trauma. I also have a particular interest in working with clients who have PTSD.

I also have vast experience working with couples that are navigating conflicts, domestics violence, power struggles, divorce, family/child custody matters, to ensure that you achieve the optimum outcome for each of you.

I have my own therapy room which is a confidential place where I will listen to you without judgement, and will accept and value you  in an authentic manner.  I promote and manage the necessary therapeutic conditions for you to relax, feel able to open up and talk about your thoughts and feelings, whilst feeling safe and secure.

I will share techniques and resources, in your bespoke learning style, about how to manage the symptoms of Anxiety, Stress and Depression. Through grounding techniques, self regulation and self soothing exercises. Alongside this, we will explore what the root cause may be, things such as: low self esteem, self worth; self confidence and/or poor body image.

You will regain your sense of self, your identity, construct the world in a more positive way. We will reframe the  negative/maladaptive thoughts, and/or any negative coping strategies. As a result, you will achieve happiness, and strength to move forward through life in a positive manner.

About me and my therapy practice

In my studies I have specialised in Human Communication, Person Centred Counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

I am also a trauma informed therapist.

I can work with the creative/expressive arts, and linguistics to encourage you to explore and express yourself more freely.

I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.

I am police checked with an Enhanced DBS.
