About me and my therapy practice

I have been working as a counsellor and psychotherapist since 2011 and see individual clients and couples in my private practice in North London. Past positions include: Counsellor at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, NW3; Mind in Camden; London Borough of Camden parents and carers service; B-six sixth form college in Hackney; The Minster Centre's Low Cost Therapy Service. I am also a qualified Group Facilitator for people who hear voices, see visions and have unusual beliefs. I am an Integrative Counsellor and Therapist, which means that I incorporate a number of different ways of thinking into my work, depending on what is most appropriate for each client. I welcome contact from you, even if you would like to talk through whether counselling might help you. My undergraduate degree was a BA Joint Honours in Music and Italian from Bristol University (1985-1989) and for many years afterwards, I was a Television Director/Producer. Listening to people's stories with genuine interest, and working with them in a collaborative, creative and sensitive way has always been, and still is, important to me.
