About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative therapist offering support to adults and young people with issues such as depression, anxiety, loneliness, relationship difficulties and many others. In my work, I use a blend of different therapeutic tools and approaches to fit your individual needs. By using elements drawn from different psychological theories, I am able to offer a more flexible and inclusive approach.
I have been in clinical practice for 15 years during which I have gained a wide experience of supporting people through different struggles in life.
Therapy can help you to get to know yourself better and to understand the root and the meaning of the difficulties you might be experiencing. Having a deeper self-awareness can provide more choices and a freedom to act in a more informed way which can benefit your relationships with others and yourelf.
In my therapeutic practice you can expect a non-biased and non-judgmental space where you can explore your life and any difficulties you wish to acknowledge.
I will maintain the therapeutic structure so you can feel safe to explore the deeper parts of yourself and I will keep an open space for you to learn and grow.
Sometimes, I may share my knowledge and skills to help you to deal with some of the problems by encouraging you to try a different approach, however, at every stage of the therapy I will fully respect your autonomy and the freedom to decide upon your life.
My first session
I offer a free Zoom or telephone initial consultation for us to get to know each other a little and to decide if we could continue working together. This might also be a chance to ask any questions about the therapy and the way I work.
If you decide to work with me, I will then invite you for a counselling assessment during which we will aim to discuss the issues you would like to explore, your expectations and the number of session you might be willing to commit to.
