About me and my therapy practice
I am a registered member of both the BACP and COSCA. I hold a Postgraduate diploma in Person Centred Counselling from Aberdeen University. In addition I have an MSc and BA in International Relations. I currently work in Private Practice and also as a counsellor with Third Sector (Charitable) organizations that deal with Mental Health issues in the Aberdeen area.
Practice description
Originally from the United States of America and residing in Scotland since 2011, I work mainly as a person-centred counsellor for adults, but integrate other approaches when appropriate and helpful. As a person-centred counsellor, I will help you to explore your own issues, feelings, beliefs, behaviours and views - in a non-judgmental space where you feel safe and understood - so you can become more self-aware and achieve greater independence. I have extensive experience in helping people to deal with, emotionally process, and better understand narcissistic abuse and particularly maternal narcissism.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a professional Counsellor and qualified Counselling Supervisor.
I work mainly as a person-centred counsellor but integrate other approaches when appropriate and helpful. I addition to my own practice, I have worked extensively in the third sector delivering counselling and supervision both as a volunteer and as a staff counsellor.
I received my Certificate in Creative Supervision from the Jenny Biancardi Consultancy which is accredited by the British Psychodrama Association (a member organisation of the UKCP).
Practice description
As my counselling is primarily rooted in the Person-Centred modality, my style of supervision tends to lean towards an active but very much Person-Centred approach.
My first session
