About me and my therapy practice
You may have been experiencing worries and difficulties for a long time, or the strange times we presently live in might have brought up concerns for you. I offer a safe space for you to talk confidentially about whatever might be on your mind. Talking therapy allows us to journey together to understand your thoughts, feelings and behaviours and work with your capacity to make change.
I provide therapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment and work with individuals on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period.
I practiced as a highly specialist psychotherapist in a London NHS teaching hospital for 15 years and now have a private practice in Bethnal Green. My specialist areas of work include:Relationship difficulties, anxiety and depression, bereavement, sexual identity, psychosexual difficulties, recreational drug use, living well with HIV, and provide an affirmative therapy for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender communities.
The therapy space in Bethnal Green, East London, E2 offers sessions in both the evenings and early mornings Monday - Thursday and is 3 minutes from the tube station and numerous buses.
My first session
An assessment session is a 50 minute introduction to the therapy I provide. We can talk about what is on your mind, the way in which I work, and it's an opportunity for you to see how comfortable you feel working with me. Should you decide that I'm not the therapist for you, there is no fee. If you wish to progress, the assessment fee is added to the monthly payment.
