About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP registered psychotherapist and counsellor offering one to one counselling and psychotherapy in person, online via video link, or over the telephone. Therapy is a place for you to explore your thoughts and feelings with someone who is trained to listen without judgement. It can be short term for a few sessions or long term and open ended, and is usually for one hour on the same day each week.
People come to therapy for a number of different reasons, and I believe whatever your life experiences, discussing them openly and safely can enable you to move forward and feel better. Whether you have a goal for therapy or simply want to talk things through and see where it takes you, I would be happy to have a chat on the telephone and begin the process with you.
My first session
I offer an exploratory first session of 90 minutes to assess clients' current situation and expectations. If we agree to begin a course of therapy, future sessions will take place weekly for 50 minutes each time.
