About me and my therapy practice
I have over seventeen years’ experience in the field of mental health. I am a highly qualified bilingual psychotherapist (to Doctorate level) and I am able to offer therapy in both English and Farsi. My approach to therapy is integrative which means I use an approach suited to each individual client's needs. This way I am able to utilise different approaches such as Humanistic, Psychoanalytic and Cognitive Behavioural. I am a specialist in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Cross Cultural therapy. My role is to support the client through this process in a non- judgemental and non-prescriptive manner. I encourage clients to be autonomous and to discover their own strengths helping them to have the knowledge and internal resources to enable them to reach their full potential.
I provide therapy for depression, anxiety, panic attacks, anger management, stress management, confidence and self esteem, phobia, obsessive compulsive disorder, trauma, HIV, sexual abuse, bereavement, addiction, relationship problems.
