About me and my therapy practice

You may be looking for someone to talk to about your life. Someone to explore your journey with, to understand how it has shaped you and your experiences. It can be daunting to ask for help but there is help available for you.

In therapy with me, you'll find a safe, accepting space where you can truly be you. Where you can express yourself and your feelings - to say the un-sayable or the un-thinkable. Therapy is a chance to share and explore your story and working together we gain insights into how that has influenced your current experience. This space is judgment-free and nurturing, as well as gently challenging. The focus is on understanding and acceptance, leading to personal growth.

I offer both face to face and online sessions, from short-term to open-ended therapy options - tailored to meet your needs. Together, we'll develop strategies that empower you to support yourself, including learning self-soothing and self-regulation techniques. By cultivating and nurturing your inner loving parent, together we'll find ways for you to begin supporting yourself.

You don't have to face life's challenges alone. My hope is for you to come into a deeper nourishing relationship with yourself and your inner world. To gain a better understanding; learning to hold, encourage and support yourself as you navigate your personal life. To realize your capacity for creativity, curiosity and wonder in the world around you.

My extensive training at Re-vision uses a soulful approach through which to integrate concepts from Jungian, Gestalt, relational, psychodynamic, neuroscience, body psychotherapy and family systems theory as well as developmental and archetypal psychology. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BAPC). I attend regular supervision to ensure my practice retains it's integrity and continues to grow.

Practice description

I hold a space that is an opportunity for you to share and speak to your inner world. Bringing it out into the light where it can be met and witnessed without shame or judgement.

Exploring the story of your life

There is an opportunity to explore the story of your life, the situations and various relationships that have influenced your self-view and your world-view. You may have come to find that your coping strategies, patterns or habits that no longer serve you and have now become an obstacle to leading the kind of life you want for yourself.

Past, Present and Future

We may talk about how you’re feeling today. Where and how we find you in your story and how that is impacting your current life. We may talk about the future. What are your hopes and dreams, your soul purpose? What does your heart yearn for? Where would you like your story to go?

These past, present and future perspectives are all intertwined. As we explore your inner world, we can begin to understand the story arcs that thread through your life.

Working Creatively

The rational mind and cognitive thinking can at times only take us so far, we may use creative approaches to deepen our work and bring what is unconscious into consciousness. By working with the imagination - through myth, poetry, art, imagery, dream work - we can invite a poetic sensitivity into our work; allowing you to reconnect with a sense of your heart and soul.

Embracing Difference

Sociocultural aspects play a role in all our lives and how we're feeling. I hold a commitment to be inclusive towards diversity; embracing and celebrating difference in our communities. I offer a space where cultural differences such as race, gender, sexuality, class, disabilities, ageism and neurodiversity are welcome and can be discussed openly, honestly and candidly.

My first session

I offer a free 20-minute consultation online or over the phone.

I offer a 20 minute free intro session so that you can get a sense of me and the space I hold. A chance where we can check out if it’s a good fit - it’s important that you find what’s right for you.

This will be a chance for you to tell me a bit about yourself and what’s going on for you. You might have some questions and I can tell you more about what it would be like to have therapy with me
