About me and my therapy practice
Choosing your Counsellor, making that phone call can be a daunting experience. I believe it's the bravest decision often made at the most difficult of times. I can provide a relationship without judgment, the opportunity to be heard, to reflect and examine the difficulties that are casting a shadow over your happiness. I believe the answers we seek are within each one of us and can be unearthed with care, compassion and respect.
I work within the Person Centred model, graduating in 2015 from the University of Nottingham with a BA in Humanistic Counselling Practice. I am a member of the BACP, abiding by their ethical framework.
I also worked as a Registered Nurse for 25 years with experience of caring for individuals experiencing various health related difficulties, including a cancer diagnosis.
I offer an initial consultation at a reduced rate of £20 for 50 minutes with subsequent sessions at £50 for 50 minutes. I have availability Monday to Friday including some evenings.
