Availability

I currently have availability for in person and online sessions.

I can offer you face to face sessions from Central Farnham accessible from Farnborough, Fleet, Haslemere, Alton and Basingstoke.

About me and my therapy practice

I can offer you in person counselling sessions, online and via phone.  If you would like to take the next step, call or email me to arrange a free 15 minute consultation, so you can see how you feel speaking with me.

As a professionally qualified and registered counsellor working within Surrey and Hampshire. I have experience of working with both adults and teenagers 16+ with issues such as depression, generalised anxiety disorder, stress, self-esteem, bereavement, relationship issues and family dynamics.

I am currently offering individual online and in person counselling from a calm environment, with an open and compassionate approach.

I do understand that making the decision to come to counselling may feel like a big step, but being here is one of the biggest steps.

At times we can all find ourselves facing things which leave us feeling anxious, panicked, confused, angry, stuck or isolated.

I am here to really listen to you and to help you find your own way forward.

"I felt like I could be completely open and honest with Katy throughout, no matter what we were talking about, I felt like I wanted to get the most out of the experience, she was not judgemental or bias in any way..." C.A.

"Katy's caring human approach to everything we discussed, and the level of emotional intelligence she brought to all our conversations are just two of the many reasons I would recommend her to anyone looking to start therapy." M.D.

Practice description

I can offer both face to face counselling sessions and online

For remote sessions you need a quiet, private space where you won't be disturbed or overheard. I will also be speaking from a private space and I use headphones for extra confidentiality.

Once we have agreed a time to connect, I will either call you or you can click on the Zoom link I will send you by email. You do not need Zoom downloaded on your device for this to happen.

Face to face sessions are based in Farnham (and Haslemere) accessible from Fleet, Farnborough and Basingstoke. My counselling room provides a calm and confidential space in which to explore your feelings and together we can work towards any desired change.

My first session

Before our first session, I would like to offer you a free 15 minute phone call as it's important you feel comfortable talking with me and that you have the opportunity to ask any questions.

I understand that it may feel difficult to make that first contact and to talk to a stranger, but professional support can be really helpful. There is no shame in reaching out and asking for help. We wouldn't think twice about calling our GP if we were sick or a dentist if we had toothache.

In our first session I may talk more than usual, I may ask a number of questions; this is so that I can best understand where you are now and how you got to be there. I won't tell you how to think or what to do, but I will support you to uncover your own solutions.

Just phone or send me an email to arrange a consultation for which there is no charge.
