About me and my therapy practice
Life is not always easy and there may be times when difficulties we are experiencing appear to be over-whelming and we may feel unable to share them with those closest to us.
Our counselling relationship will be different to the type you have with friends, family or colleagues. It is secure and confidential, the focus being on your experiences of your problems. I will not give you advice, judge you or tell you what to do, but instead we will work collaboratively to explore & make sense of your thoughts, feelings & behaviours.
Working in an Integrative way using a Psychodynamic approach in which we might explore how experiences in your past may be influencing the present, coupled with a Person Centred Approach which acknowledges your potential and ability to make the right choices for yourself can lead to greater insight and self awareness and therefore a greater sense of well-being.
I offer therapy in a safe, calm and non-judgmental space and together we will explore what is happening with you and what it is you want to change. I am able to work with a wide range of issues and I work within the BACP Ethical Framework.
My practice is in a comfortable private conservatory overlooking green space
My first session
Our first session either via telephone or online via zoom will be free of charge so that we can ascertain whether you feel comfortable working with me and if you think I might be able to help you.
