About me and my therapy practice

When life becomes as difficult as it is just now, it can be hard to know where to turn for help.   

I am an experienced BACP- and UKCP-registered psychotherapist and counsellor based in West London, offering individual psychotherapy and counselling online online during the Covid-19 pandemic.  I offer a friendly and confidential space where you can  talk openly about your concerns.   I have been counselling clients in Ealing since 2006.  

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to psychotherapy.  My aim is to be alongside you as you gain new, more helpful perspectives on your problems.  As an integrative therapist I am committed to a culturally-sensitive and ethical way of working. 

During these weeks of social distancing because of Covid-19, I am offering sessions via Skype, Zoom, What's App or phone only. 

Practice description

I work with clients aged 18+, and strongly believe personal change is possible throughout life. You might not come with a specific, well-defined issue, but the kinds of problems I address with clients include:


generalised anxiety disorder

bereavement and loss

work difficulties

relationship difficulties


low self esteem / confidence

social anxiety

life transitions, eg retirement

family estrangement

personality disorders and early life trauma

physical and emotional abuse

body issues

I would normally see you at the same time each week for a 50-minute session. Some flexibility is available by arrangement for freelancers and shift workers. I offer a limited number of places at a reduced rate for students and trainees. 

In my approach, I draw on several different ideas and theories (including psychodynamic and humanistic thinking, Cognitive Behavioural therapy, mindfulness and a focus on the body).  

My first session

After an initial phone call, we can arrange to meet for a first session.   This is a chance to see if we can work well together.  I will ask you about your current circumstances and history, anything in particular you would like to focus on, and whether you have had counselling or psychotherapy before.   If you have questions, please feel free to ask.
