About me and my therapy practice
Hi! My name is Marion, and I am a fully qualified Person-centered counsellor, holding a Higher Professional Diploma in Counselling with Distinction. I work as a counsellor in a variety of settings including a college, London Friend (LGBTQ mental health charity) and in private practise. I also work as a Counselling Skills tutor.
My aim is to provide you with a warm, safe and therapeutic environment, within which we can explore together your world and experiences. Together we can travel on a journey, that may at times be hard, to make sense of your difficulties and heal your pain, to help you find your freedom and peace within yourself.
My awareness and understanding of diversity is at the heart of how I work, as I have a deep respect for your individuality and personal background. My approach is therefore centered around acceptance and non-judgement, so you can be free to explore whatever it is you need to.
I have experience of working with a wide range of people, including different backgrounds, ages, cultures and identities, particularly LGB and transgender identities.
** Please note, during Coronavirus I am holding all my sessions online via video calls instead. I have found that clients still find this an effective way to have therapy, particularly during this very difficult time.
