About me and my therapy practice

Trying to figure out what has been holding you back and are you ready to address it with the right person?

I am a Counsellor in Harley Street who supports London professionals to effectively address mental health concerns in their work and personal lives.

Please contact me if you wondering how to take the first steps or are ready to address or make changes around: having a better nights sleep, reducing low moods or feeling confident enough to try new things.

If you have found yourself in a toxic work environment, together we can develop coping strategies so you can continue the work you enjoy, whilst dealing effectively with a boss or colleagues. Or is it time to finally make the change and explore how to move forward into a better and brighter position, through the uncertainty.

Are your relationships suffering? Find out how you can develop closer friendships, create enough energy to enjoy your family or greater emotional intimacy with a partner. We can identify the reasons which will lead to a deeper relationship if you are single or help build the courage to move forward past a painful breakup or divorce into a healthy happy relationship.

Is alcohol or other ways of blocking out emotions no longer working? Is self care being sacrificed, leading to the initial stages of 'burnout' or are you looking to recover? Anxiety, stress, depression or low moods pulling you down and creating challenges in your personal or professional life?

I can show you simple and effective methods to manage, giving you more control of your life and address the immediate problems. For deeper work, you will be with someone who you can trust, feel held and secure with and we will only look at certain areas if or when you are ready. At your own pace and in a way which will not be re-triggering or re-traumatising and with preparation if needed.

Making sure you are contained and safe during your session and are grounded, relaxed and ready to leave and continue with your everyday life when we finish.

Practice description

I am an integrative counsellor. My practice is person centred based, which means supporting and understanding you is the most important part of my work. My role is to empower you and make sure you are heard empathetically in a non-judgmental environment, a place to understand yourself, express your emotions and make your own decisions.

My counselling practice encourages healthy change by helping clients to process emotions more effectively, understand their relationships, accept themselves, find their motivations and understand and overcome obstacles. Somewhere you do not have to wear masks or hold back what you really feel.

Additionally I use a combination of Psychodynamics, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy), Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, SFBT (Solution Focused Brief Therapy) and Existentialism. Some of these techniques are less emotionally exploratory and more practical, solution or goal focused which is a better fit for some clients.

Therapy is a healing process, changes to self-defeating behaviour, managing feelings of sadness, fear, and pain can bring significant and life-altering results. I have been trained at ADAS Harlow (Alcohol and Drug Advisory Service), The Enfield Carers Centre and have worked at Enfield LGBT Network.

I have been working successfully with depression & low moods, anxiety, addiction and recovery, male sexual issues, sexual identity, Gender Sexual Relationship Diversity (GSRD), confidence & direction, childhood trauma & abuse, breakups & divorce, work stress, burnout, complex grief and bereavement. As an integrative counsellor there are a variety of techniques which can be used to address each issue in their own way. I have a proven track record within local services & private practice.

I work both online (via Zoom) or in-person and am located Harley Street.
