About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified counsellor, trained in Switzerland, New Zealand and Ireland. I am from the United States, but have lived in Europe for over 30 years. I have a B.Sc(Hons) in Psychology and an MA in Counselling. I come with a unique international perspective of issues. I now bring this wide experience to help individuals and groups in the Wrexham area, where I am permanently based.
I am a qualified, person-centred counsellor, and registered member of the BACP, offering confidential, professional and non-judgemental counselling.
As well as my private practice, I volunteer one day a week as a counsellor with the Salvation Army. I also work with the Community Care Collaborative and I am a supervisor with the ICAN team at the Maelor hospital. My core belief is being with, and in, the local community.
My office is based in central Wrexham. However, if access is an issue, an alternative office is available. I am currently working with a trainee therapy dog and can offer sessions with her.
