About me and my therapy practice
Therapy provides a safe, non- judgmental and confidential space in which you can express your feelings and we can explore whatever you are finding challenging, in a supportive and nurturing environment. You might be experiencing relationship or work problems, struggling with feelings of anger, anxiousness or grief or have suffered trauma or abuse.
I aim to facilitate your understanding of how your past may have had an emotional impact on your development and may still affect your present day life. This insight can provide relief and contribute to personal growth and fulfilment.
I adhere to the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy's Ethical Framework & Guidelines.
I offer both short term and open ended therapy whether face to face (when safe to do so) or via zoom or telephone. My private consulting room is in London NW4.
As well as maintaining my private practice, I have experience of working as a therapist within the NHS and the charity sector.
My first session
I understand that starting therapy can be daunting. Your initial consultation(s) can give you a chance to ask any questions and to find out what psychodynamic therapy can offer you.
If we both decide we can work together, sessions take place at the same time on a weekly basis and last for 50 minutes.
