About me and my therapy practice
Are you finding life a struggle? Do you feel alone and lost in your thoughts. Perhaps you feel anxious, sad, angry, fearful, overwhelmed or having relationship difficulties? I am here for you wherever you are at in your life. I believe talking can help. I will be with you in your struggles and I will listen to you without fear of judgement. Together we can search and find answers to your questions. I understand It may feel scary taking that first step in reaching out, but if you feel like I could help, please contact me by phone, text or email.
My name is Haley, I work in my own private practise, with a confidential room not far from the city centre. I can offer you a warm, genuine and caring relationship. I create a safe space in a comfortable environment to explore your experiences and understand more about yourself. I work relationally and sensitively at your pace.
Everyday life throws up challenges which can effect us emotionally, physically and psychologically.
Therapy provides a safe environment to talk about anything you want to. We can work together to discover your goals. Exploring issues such as relationship difficulties, physical and mental health concerns, loss, self-confidence and self-esteem can make a real difference.
It is an opportunity for you to explore your thoughts and feelings with a therapist in a safe, supportive, and confidential setting.
Therapy can help you increasing your self-awareness, reaching a deeper understanding about yourself that can help you enhance your relationships and lifting your self-esteem. It can help you have more fulfilling and meaningful relationships, not only with others but with yourself.
I have over 3 years experience of psychotherapy work and 20 years working in domestic abuse and trauma. I offer long and short term counselling and psychotherapy, I am currently working remotely on the phone and on line via video sessions, with plans to work face to face when possible. My practise is on the ground floor and has on street parking.
My first session
I offer a 15-minute free phone consultation. This is an opportunity for us to make contact and for me to learn more about what brought you to seek therapy. This can be very helpful for you to ask me any questions you may have and find out whether we can work well together.
If you decide to book an initial session after our phone consultation, this will be an opportunity to explore further in a therapy session what your current situation is, what brings you to therapy and what you would like to gain from it. It will also help us explore more thoroughly how we can work together, it is important you feel comfortable, at ease and that you can talk confidently to me.
There is no commitment for you to continue if you are not completely comfortable. Moving forward, sessions take place every week on the same day and at the same time and it is your choice how long you stay in therapy as this depends on the nature of the issues you wish to explore.
