About me and my therapy practice

To everyone on the outside you can look like you have everything together, but on the inside there can be a lot going on, some of which you understand, a lot of which you might not. Therapy can help you to process your thoughts and emotions, show you tools to use in everyday life to make life more manageable and help you to feel better within yourself and around others.

I'm a BACP registered Integrative Counsellor, that means that I use different approaches and counselling theories for each client as everyone's experience is unique and has different needs. We can explore your day to day life and its struggles in the here-and-now, look at ways to understand your situation and ways manage. We can also explore your past - relationships, experiences and feelings about your past - to help you see if there are any links to how you are feeling today.

People often describe me as calm and relaxed, which is how I approach my therapeutic practice. I believe in fostering warm and welcoming relationships, building trust with those I work with so that they can feel heard and understood without judgement.

I offer individual counselling for adults aged 18 and older. I provide short term (6-8 sessions) and long term (open ended) therapy.

Sessions are scheduled weekly and last 50 minutes, they are at the same time each week.

You can choose between in-person meetings at my Beckenham (South-East London) office or online sessions conducted via Zoom.

Together, we can explore issues that might be affecting you such as anxiety, depression, low self-worth, grief or anger.

Practice description

Beginning on the path of therapy is, I believe, a personal and courageous journey, one where no reason is invalid. People step into the therapeutic space for an array of profound and unique reasons, each stemming from their own lived experiences and emotions. The decision to seek therapy often emerges when the weight of life's challenges becomes too much to bear alone.

In a world that often rushes us through our emotions, therapy offers dedicated time and space to explore your innermost concerns, hopes, and fears. You can talk with someone who exists outside your daily life without fear of judgement, it can add consistency and value to your world.

Choosing therapy, no matter why, shows how strong people can be. It means they care about their feelings and thoughts. In therapy, everyone's experiences are important - there are no invalid reasons, only unique narratives - each deserving of acknowledgment and support.

My first session

If you would like to discuss counselling with me, don't hesitate to get in touch. I offer a free 20 minute phone consultation to explore how we might work together regarding your issues and I can answer any questions you might have.

Should you opt to commence counselling, we'll arrange an initial session to talk about your concerns and objectives for the work. Together, we can determine the number of sessions you require or explore the option of long-term therapy - we will have regular reviews of our progress to make sure we are on track with your goals.
