About me and my therapy practice
Mental health is extremely important, especially during this current climate we are all facing. From the 4th July I will be offering face to face counselling from my home. I have side access to my garden where we can do outside counselling, weather permitting, or use my separate counselling room which is accessible via the garden. Therefore there is no need to walk through the house to receive either types of therapy making this Covid -19 safe. We will remain 2 metres apart at all times and I can offer water in disposable containers and I sanitise the room both before and after each client.
From me, you can expect experience of working in three different NHS doctors surgeries. I have relevant life experience including adapting to changes in health and coping with losses within family and career. I also have experience of being a carer for 15 years.
I have special training and experience in living and dealing with long-term health conditions. I worked with the Stroke Association and trained with the MS helpline.
I am based in Hasbury, Halesowen, near to Junction 3 of the M5 motorway and also on a main route into Birmingham. There is adjacent parking and the therapy room is fully accessible and overlooks a private garden.
