About me and my therapy practice

In a quiet, relaxed, confidential environment, I can offer you the opportunity to think through difficulties that are affecting your ability to live life as you'd like to. Coming to therapy can help you understand yourself better, and improve your relationships with others. I recognise that some problems may not be easy to talk to a stranger about, but hope that as we get to know each other you'll feel comfortable exploring these issues with me. You might be experiencing something you're puzzled by, like anxiety, or depression, or maybe you're aware of the cause, like a loss, a troubling relationship, or a decision you want to make, and know what you need to talk about. I have experience in dealing with many different therapy issues, some of which are detailed below. The first session is your chance to discuss why you're thinking of counselling at this point. I charge the same for each session, including the initial appointment. If you decide to continue with therapy after our initial meeting, we'll meet for 50 minute sessions at the same time each week, for as long as you need. I offer appointments in the afternoon on Monday, and mornings on Friday, and sometimes am able to offer evening appointments, depending on availability. My practice isn't wheelchair accessible, as there are steps up to the property.
