About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I'm Suzanne and I'm a person centred counsellor. Life can be tough, but we rarely stop to think about the impact it takes on us. I provide a warm and supportive environment for you to talk through your experiences. My aim is to help you understand who you are and who you want to be in the future, with a particular focus on building confidence and self-esteem. By looking for a counsellor you are taking that first step.
I came to counselling after a career in the corporate sector then education. I currently combine my private practice at Carlton Psychology in Farnham with counselling for the mental health charity Oakleaf Enterprise in Guildford.
I love helping people to see a brighter future and look forward to meeting you.
I see individuals from the age of 16 and have experience of working with clients suffering from anxiety and depression, grief, abuse, relationship issues (whether that be partners, family, socially or in the workplace) and changes in life brought about by illness, retirement, education, work, menopause or children leaving home.
I work in private practice with Carlton Psychology in Farnham. As a person centred counsellor my focus is to support you not direct you, but each client has their own particular needs and I can draw upon other theoretical approaches and tailor your therapy to better help you.
