About me and my therapy practice
Whatever it is that brings you to counselling, I will help you to bring about the change you are wanting to achieve. You may have a personal goal in mind, or you may not know exactly what it is you need from counselling yet. You may be struggling with life at the moment and finding it hard to see a way forward. You may feel lost and not have a good sense of who you are any more. You may have a long term condition that you need help with or you may have had a recent bereavement, separation or other traumatic life event. Maybe things just don't feel right. Whatever it is you need and wherever you need to get to, I am here to help you.
I have a BA Hons Degree in Counselling. I am a member of the BACP, the British Association for Counselling And Psychotherapy, and I work within their ethical code of practice. I have training and experience in Person Centred Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Counselling, Mindfulness, Inner Child Therapy and Creative work.
Counselling is empowering, liberating and can be life changing. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is key to effective growth and change. I am a calm, warm and non-judgmental person. I offer a safe, comfortable and confidential environment where I can help you to deal with your difficulties and to work towards achieving your personal goals.
I also offer online counselling via video link and telephone counselling.
My standard charge is £45 per one hour session.
