About me and my therapy practice
I am a person centred Therapist with a level 5dip in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. I have worked a lot with trauma, and I am Trauma Risk Management ( TRIM) trained to BTEC level 5 level. Apart from Trauma based therapy, I work mainly with common life mental health issues like anxiety and depression and phobias. which most of us suffer, with varying degrees of severity, at some point in our lives. Its when we feel we have sense of helplessness and loss of control, when a journey with a therapist can greatly assist with helping you regain that control. I also have a great interest and training in life coaching , and taking positive action in our lives can be the biggest weapon, in helping us take back control.
I am a down to earth working class northerner, with over 20 years of military and emergency service, and I am very aware , from personal experience that a uniform is no barrier to poor mental health.
If you feel that I could help you on your journey in taking back control, or simply helping create a safe and empathic space to reflect and understand the past present or future, then maybe I could be the right person to guide you on that journey.
