About me and my therapy practice
I am a Senior Accredited Therapist with BACP and have a background in Psychodynamic Therapy. I often integrate techniques from other practices, such as Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Transactional Analysis and Solution focused therapy, to create the most effective programme for both long and short term clients.
Alongside my private practice, I have also had many years of experience working in the NHS, GP surgeries and charities . Previous clients have ranged from people as young as 14 years, through to adults of 92 years of age!
I am an approved provider for BUPA, AXA and AVIVA insurance, should you wish to be referred to me through your health insurance.
I am an experienced supervisor, offering supervision online and in my office for therapists from different modalities and I also work nationally as an accredited supervisor for Interpersonal Psychotherapy, providing supervision for trainees during their training for the NHS.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP accredited supervisor with many years experience. I deliver supervision to practitioners in private practice, the NHS and in other organisations. I supervise those from multiple modalities: Psychodynamic, Person Centered, Humanistic, Relational and Integrative.
I have experience supervising qualified and trainee therapists working in long and/or short term interventions with adults.
I believe that the supervisory relationship is key and aim to provide a collaborative, safe place where you can feel comfortable to bring your client work for exploration and reflection, with the aim that you are able to bring your challenges as well as your successes. It is through our vulnerabilities and blind spots that we connect and learn and need to feel safe enough to do so.
I believe supervision should allow you to reflect on all aspects of the relationship with your clients, your own process and responses and those that come up in the supervisory relationship.
I value the high standard of supervision I receive and believe this is an essential part of the work as a therapist. I value the therapeutic relationship and believe we are constantly learning from each other.
My supervisory approach, like my counselling approach, comes from both my personal and professional values. I don’t limit discussions to client work, as counselling supervision involves you, the supervisee, bringing all of yourself to the supervision process including personal and/or organisational issues.
Practice description
Developing an ethical, open and trusting relationship is key to the way I work but it is also a relationship that will challenge, change and enable you to grow as a therapist and develop your practice in a professional and ethical way.
We are all individual and have different needs and I aim to tailor supervision to your requirements.
We are all bound by our professional body’s ethics and good practice standards and I work to guidelines set out by BACP.
I have worked in the NHS, for charities, privately, EAP, insurance, long and short term work, online and in person and have personal experience of the rewards and challenges of these different organisations.
As well as providing private supervision, I also work nationally providing qualified and training supervision for Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) for the NHS and provide supervision for a national charity.
