Hello I am Kate, thank you for looking at my profile. I believe that we are all experts on our own lives but we can sometimes benefit from someone listening attentively and without judgement to how things are and this can help us in finding our way. On Wednesdays and Thursdays I work at the Banbury Therapy Centre.

Together we will work to grow your awareness of what is going on for you and how you would like to address the problems in your life. I offer appointments face-to-face as well as Zoom and telephone.

About me and my therapy practice

I am an integrative therapist; this means I will work with you in a range of ways to help you to make sense of what is happening for you. Together we can look at how to shape the therapy to your needs; we can explore what is happening in the present and how the past could be affecting how you feel now.

As I am a supervisor in training I am looking for supervisees. I would be willing to offer 1 hour or 1 hour 30 minute sessions per month for free. This can either be face to face or online (Zoom).  Due to the fact that I am in training I cannot see trainee therapists at present as you need a qualified supervisor. I am available Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays in Milton Keynes.

I am a member of the BACP and my integrations are Transactional Analysis, Person Centered and Gestalt. I like to offer a collaborative space where we can work together as equals to work through your case load but also help to develop you as a therapist.

About me and my therapy practice

I am an LGBTQIA+ informed therapist who specializes in addiction and trauma work. I also work with neurodiverse clients. I have been in private practice since 2020 and I aim to offer a safe, supportive and collaborative space so that you can get the most from your supervision.

Practice description

I am based at the Quaker Centre in Milton Keynes which is accessible to wheelchair users and also has free parking and disabled toilet facilities.

My first session

I offer a free 1 hour consultation for us to go through what you are looking for from supervision. This can be face to face or online.

I use an assessment form to ensure we are covering everything that is needed. We will look at where and how you work as well as case load.  My aim is to tailor the supervision to your own unique needs so that you can get the most from the process.

I focus on the fact that the relationship between the two of us is important to the sessions working well and enjoy helping other therapists to develop themselves.
