About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP Accredited Integrative counsellor & CBT therapist. Over the years I've worked online via zoom or telephone and face to face with many different issues, such as anxiety, depression, panic attacks, relationship problems, self esteem, OCD, bereavement, and much more.
I have found that a mixture of talking and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy work well with many issues. There can be times in our lives when we find it hard to cope, and may be feeling sad, anxious, confused, or distressed. With empathy, and compassion, I can help you work through your thoughts and feelings, and find your way forward.
Practice description
My core training was Petruska Clarkson's Relational Model. I integrate Person Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic, Jungian Theory, Transactional Analysis, and Gestalt Therapy. I also completed a BA (Hons) in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and have done further training in Transactional Analysis Theory (TA). I have also completed a Diploma in Supervision using TA Theory.
All my training has been very relational, and also means rather than being restricted to using one model, this enables me to integrate the appropriate therapeutic interventions based on the relationship, to suit your unique needs. I can help you to understand your problems and what’s keeping you stuck or caught in a repetitive cycle. I will listen to you, and offer a warm, caring, empathic and confidential space that gives you the chance to share your deepest fears.
My first session
Contacting a stranger to talk about your difficulties is a big step. I understand that some people might feel anxious about the thought of having counselling, and taking the first steps in therapy might be difficult. I offer a free initial 30 minute telephone consultation to talk through the issue you are experiencing. Please feel free to contact me, as I’m happy to talk with you to answer any questions you may have (in confidence), and to ensure that you feel I am the right person to help you. I will make every effort to help you feel comfortable, safe, respected, and listened to.
If you would like to enquire about counselling or to make an appointment, you are welcome to email, telephone me, or send a text message between 9am -5pm Monday to Friday.
If I am in a session, and not available to answer, please leave a message, and I will get back to you as soon as possible. You are welcome to contact me out of these hours, and I will pick your message up and return your call during the next working day.

About me and my therapy practice
I will offer you a safe space without fear of judgement. I believe supervision is a place for curiosity and reflection, whilst being supportive and challenging to help promote your awareness and understanding.
I enjoy sharing my experience, knowledge, and training with my supervisees’ and inevitably learning from them too. I believe supervision is a two way process, as you will bring your own experience, as well as your hopes and fears to enrich the supervisory relationship.
The supervision model I practise is The Seven-Eyed model by Hawkins & Shohet. I like this model as it fits in well with my training as an integrative counsellor, which is very relational. The supervision model I use also focuses on the relationships between client, therapist, and supervisor and on the interplay between each relationship.
