About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome to my profile page.
You have taken a big step by looking for support; this takes courage, well done.
If you choose to work with me I will go at a pace which feels right for you in order to achieve the best possible outcome. I offer a sensitive and confidential approach to whatever is troubling you; regardless of age, gender, sexuality or culture.
We will use our initial meeting to work out what you want and need from counselling so we can work together to achieve this.
I am an experienced relationship counsellor; I work with individuals, couples and families on a range of issues such as affairs, trust, lack of intimacy, communication and conflict. I also offer counselling for pregnancy or birth related difficulties, including postnatal depression.
I work in an integrative way which helps us think about how you relate to yourself and others; this can support you in understanding yourself and assist you in making good and thoughtful choices. This way of working also takes into account external influences which either support or prevent you from moving forward. This can assist you in developing your own resourcefulness, help you achieve lasting change and reach your full potential.
My work experience includes the NHS as a midwife and as part of Bereavement Support Team, a domestic violence charity, private and charity based counselling.
£45 for individuals and couples
£60 for families and for Saturday morning appointments
I review my fees at the end of each year.
