About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified, experienced, registered counsellor and I offer effective counselling therapy both short term and solution focussed as well as longer term psychotherapy.

My practice offers confidential online, telephone and video-call options as well as face to face counselling support.

Counselling and psychotherapy for individuals and relationship counselling for couples can be helpful and hugely rewarding at any stage in life, the therapy I offer is non-judgemental and non-directive; you decide whatever you want to discuss, process and explore with me.

The counselling experience provides an opportunity for self-development and understanding, building on your own particular strengths and enabling an increased sense of overall wellbeing.

Practice description

The counselling service I provide is confidential, professional and set in a supportive, private environment which is respectful of individual pace and needs. I offer valuable support when life presents with difficulties and challenges and there doesn't seem to be a way forward.

Talking through difficulties and challenges you are facing with a professional can allow you to develop a deeper insight, provide you with clarity and offer you a new enhanced perspective.

Whether our work together is short term or longer term, I provide a regular, mutually agreeable review where appropriate; this offers us an opportunity to check out how we are doing.

My first session

I am experienced in a broad range of therapeutic models which underpin my practice. The initial assessment appointment is an opportunity for us to meet, either face to face or via your chosen remote medium and discuss your presenting issue, for us to decide how you will benefit from counselling and ask any questions you may have about how I work and the counselling process.

If you decide counselling is right for you and we decide to work together, we can then agree either a regular or more flexible appointment time, whichever is appropriate to suit your current needs.
