About me and my therapy practice

As a qualified relationship counsellor (MBACP), I offer a safe place for you, as a couple or an individual, to come and talk about your problems. We can build a secure connection where you know you will not be judged and where what you say remains confidential. The decision to come to counselling can be quite daunting, I appreciate.

During the coronavirus disruption it is not realistic at present to see clients face to face, so I am switching to video link – Zoom, Skype or FaceTime, for instance. As usual, I offer an initial session, after which we decide if we would like to continue. If we agree to go ahead, this first session is chargeable; otherwise it is free.

I use an integrative approach, which means I can adapt any one of a number of therapeutic styles I am familiar with to your particular needs. The key factor, though, is the way we get on as counsellor and client.

After therapy couples often feel more confident and understand how to communicate better, meet their own and each other’s needs and continue to build a more hopeful, loving, fun and fulfilling relationship.

Individuals too can discover better ways of coping and bringing about the changes they want in their lives.

I look forward to hearing from you.
