About me and my therapy practice

Are you struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship issues or just feeling overwhelmed? Or do you feel stuck in a rut and that life is passing you by or finding it difficult to see a hopeful future?

Maybe events from the past keep playing on your mind, stopping you moving forward with your life or perhaps something specific is troubling you and you have a difficult decision to make.

I can help.

I am a fully qualified and experienced counsellor. I provide a friendly, safe and confidential space, where you will not be judged, allowing you the freedom to talk freely and make sense of whatever is troubling you, and help you learn better ways of coping.

I have many years of experience of working with adults and young people (over 18) in a wide range of life issues such as social anxiety, low self-esteem/self confidence, self doubt, depression, feeling low, relationships, family issues, divorce/separation, lack of direction/feeling stuck, work/life balance, exam stress, university life and personal development.

I also have over 2 years experience in working for a respected local charity counselling adults who suffer from the effects of emotional, sexual and physical childhood abuse. I have additional training and experience in working with complex trauma, generalised anxiety and post-traumatic stress.

Whatever is bringing you to counselling, I believe that everyone is unique, every issue is different, therefore I tailor sessions and draw from different approaches to help you get the most from your counselling.

Practice description

Life doesn't always run smoothly and can bring us various challenges, which can sometimes feel overwhelming.

We all have things on our minds that we feel we cannot raise, even with our closest family and friends. It can be hard to open up and share your inner most thoughts and concerns with someone, especially with someone you don’t know.

You will find that even just being able to verbalise your thoughts, with the freedom to talk openly and confidentially, can be very therapeutic.

Online sessions

Sessions by video call (Zoom) or by telephone call can offer you the flexibility and convenience to fit appointments around a busy life, all from the comfort of your own home

I specialise in online and telephone counselling and work with individual adults and young people (over 18) anywhere in the UK.

Flexible sessions offered, weekly and fortnightly appointments available.

I offer a free introductory session, with no obligation, which will give you a feel to how online counselling could work for you. This can be online by video call (Zoom) or by telephone, whichever you prefer.

My first session

I understand that making that first step to see a counsellor can feel daunting, I believe it is important to find a therapist who you feel comfortable with.

Therefore I offer a free initial 20 minute appointment, to discuss your needs and answer any questions you may have.

If you are ready to take the next step or you have any questions then please get in touch using the contact form or call/text me on 07913 424388
