About me and my therapy practice
Supervision should be a collaborative and supportive relationship, where you can bring your successes and perceived mistakes.
Good supervision should be empowering, and should be something you look forward to, not a tick box!
I have supervised trainee counsellors as well as qualified counsellors for a number of years, within the NHS and in private practice. My organisational work has been within a Hospice setting and also supporting cancer patients and their families.
I have experience of working with bereavement, long term illness and qualified to work with Children and Young people.
I am qualified in Online supervision as well as Face to Face work, both long-term and short-term work
I was Lead supervisor at the Fountain Centre for 5 yrs. The Fountain Centre provides support to cancer patients and their families. I am currently the Senior Counsellor at Reading University working with students both online and face to face. Also supervising counsellors in their final year of training.
