I work flexibly during the week from 2pm - 8pm and Saturdays from 12pm - 4pm.

I work face to face, online and on the telephone.

I provide a safe, comfortable and confidential environment . My aim is to ensure that you feel relaxed so we can build a strong and trusting relationship in which you do not feel judged and are able to explore any issues or concerns you have.

About me and my therapy practice

I believe that counselling is a process in which we seek to resolve the problems in our lives. It is a safe place for us to explore our thoughts and feelings. We all strive to be self-aware, content, have peace of mind, and to think and feel emotions with clarity and understanding. I have found that talking therapies help people to come to terms and overcome their problems. It enables people to discuss their painful feelings and issues confidentially with a trained therapist.

I work on the concept that every client is an individual and therefore needs a bespoke treatment plan. As a client centered therapist I co-ordinate your therapeutic plan to meet your individual needs.

Practice description

Hello I am Julie Kirk and I am a Integrated Counsellor . I work primarily in a Person Centred way incorporating other counselling modalities into my work to ensure that my client's needs are always at the core of our work together. I work on the concept that every client is an individual and therefore needs a treatment plan that is build around their specific needs to maximise the impact of or work together.

There is no set time limit for our work together. Some people find that they only need a few sessions,  for other people therapy can take a little longer. I will review our work together every six week's to ensure that you are getting what you need from our work.

My first session

I offer a free 15 minuet  telephone consultation to discuss what you want from our work together. If then you feel l am the right therapist for you I will take some basic contact information and book you an appointment for a mutually convenient time.
