About me and my therapy practice

Welcome, and thank you for visiting my profile.

I’m a psychotherapeutic counsellor originally trained in the person-centred approach and currently working towards accreditation as a Gestalt therapist.

I have a deep respect for the wisdom that emerges when we stop trying to “fix” ourselves and instead turn toward what is—gently, curiously, and with presence.

My work is grounded in the body, emotion, and the relational space between us. Together, we make sense of what you’re feeling, where it lives in you, and what might be trying to shift or unfold. I hold space for what’s raw, tender, and real—whether that’s grief, shame, longing, or the question of belonging.

My practice is influenced by Dreamwork, Buddhist philosophy, and embodied approaches such as Dance and Yoga Nidra. I believe healing doesn’t always look neat or linear—it often shows up in stuck places, in symptoms, in silence, in metaphor, or through the strange logic of dreams. Together, we explore not just what hurts, but what might be waiting to emerge.

I work well with people navigating transitions, complex attachment histories, creative blocks, and a longing for something more authentic and alive. If you feel like you’re circling around something unclear, this might be a place to begin.

Practice description

I work in person and I have my own room in the City Centre of Glasgow. I can also offer online or telephone sessions if this suited you better and it felt like the right way to work together.

My first session

A solid, safe connection is so important to be able to do this brave work.

I see the first session as an initial meeting. A chance for us to get a feel for each other and what might be possible in our work together. If it feels right, I usually suggest two further sessions to explore more deeply. From there, we can decide together whether to commit to ongoing work
