I am accepting new clients at the moment. I work in Brighton on Tuesdays.
About me and my therapy practice
Whatever your difficulty is I welcome you in my counselling room, where I offer confidential, non-judgemental, empathic and safe space for you to talk about your concerns.
My therapy room is a space for you to be you, however that manifests itself. It can also be a creative space in which you may want to experiment with new behaviours.
I am a Gestalt therapist. Gestalt means ‘whole’. In my practice this translates as my supporting you in raising your awareness of different aspects of your experience, such as your thoughts, feelings, imagery, body sensations, and sometimes movement.
I believe that through talking about your experience, we can jointly honour those aspects of it which are difficult and may need some holding , kindness, and compassion.
I will support you to become aware of how your 'felt' sense may enhance your understanding of how you are in relationship with yourself and others. This understanding can help you support yourself better during difficult times, draw on the strengths and abilities you already have, and tap into your aliveness and freedom within.
My Qualifications:
MSc in Gestalt Psychotherapy: nearing completion (Metanoia Institute)
Postgraduate Clinical Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Gestalt Counselling (Metanoia Institute)
MSc in Language Evolution and Cognition (University of Edinburgh)
BA with Hons. in Linguistics, First Class (Newcastle University)
