About me and my therapy practice
I’m an integrated counsellor and I use a range of therapeutic approaches, including Person-Centered Counselling, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Approach tailoring my approach according to my individual client’s needs.
For the time being, I see clients online. I am able to provide counselling in English and Turkish.
With a Ph.D. in mental health counselling, I have over 15 years’ experience as a mental health practitioner, counsellor educator and researcher.
I work with a diverse range of clients and help them manage their emotions effectively, cope with stress, anxiety and depression, deal with chronic pain, build resilience and self-confidence, improve the quality of relationships and deal with periods of transition.
My first session
It is natural to feel a sense of fear or discomfort before starting therapy. Our first session will be an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the process and my ways of working. You will also have the chance to share some of the struggles or difficulties that you want to explore.
