About me and my therapy practice
Welcome
I believe I am a friendly, empathetic counsellor with 20 years of experience. I hold a Level 4 Diploma in Integrative Counselling. I am registered with the BACP and hold a current DBS Check Certificate.
I provide counselling:
- In person at my counselling rooms near Pangbourne, West Berkshire
- By Zoom, to Clients across the UK and occasionally to Europe and further afield.
My main counselling subjects are:
- Anxiety
- Bereavement, Grief & Loss, Pet Bereavement
- Anger
- Depression
- Low Self Esteem issues (e.g. worthlessness) *
- Stress from Work
Other recent client work has included:
- Relationship Work (but not couples)
- Existential Crisis / Dilemmas
- Denial and Acceptance
- Self confidence
- Sexual Abuse
- Redundancy
*I have done a lot of work with Low Self Esteem and how that impacts so many other counselling topics.

Practice description
I am an integrative BACP counsellor specialising in Bereavement and Grief. These are complex and emotional subjects.
It is quite common when suffering from Bereavement that other issues may come to the forefront such as depression, low self-esteem or anxiety. I am also a specialist in these subjects and will help you with them.
My first session
I offer a complimentary session so that you can understand me and the way I work, and I can understand you and your issues.
If you are happy we will then proceed to regular sessions. Weekly at first then as your life improves to become less frequent.

Bereavement Specialist
Including Loss, Grief Counselling, Pet Bereavement, Childhood Bereavement.
I offer a free introductory session to understand if we can work together - by video or phone.
I will assist you with your emotions and work with you through the stages of grief. I can help you understand your feelings. We can look at various books that may help you.
I do not have a minimum number of session for you to work with me. Five or six is a reasonable expectation to see improvement, but it could be less or more.

It is important that we both feel that we can work together.
