About me and my therapy practice
I am a specialist in
I used to offer primary counselling in Anxiety, Depression, Stress and Self-esteem, but from mid 2020 I reduced this list to just Bereavement.
I have around 10 years of Bereavement counselling experience, including many recommendations. I understand the pains and stresses that are caused and believe I can help.
I will work with you on the 5 stages of grief. I do not believe these happen in any specific order, but it is likely that each stage will occur at some stage in time you are experiencing bereavement issues. I will help you identify, understand and come to terms with these.
Rather than being a generalist, this specialisation gives you assurance that I am skilled in these areas. If you have questions about my background, skills or anything else please do not be afraid to ask me.
I am a qualified counsellor and have been involved with counselling for many years. The main techniques I use are psychodynamic and person centred, but also have skills in other methods and will use them as I see they fit for your needs.
With the outbreak of the pandemic covid-19, all therapy is remote. I use Skype, Google meet or Zoom. Or we can just use phone.
My first session
I offer a short free introduction by phone to hear an overview of your problem and discuss my experience.
If we feel we can work together we will schedule an appointment after this.
