About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome. It's important to get the right support when life isn't going so well. I am a BACP Registered Counsellor and Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and have been helping adults overcome anxiety and depression for eight years. I am also a certified couples counsellor and work with several private healthcare providers. I work exclusively online and via the telephone; offering you greater flexibility and convenience. Deciding to have therapy is an important and courageous decision. Talking to someone outside of your family or social network, removes the risk of negative judgement or the worry of burdening others. As a qualified and ethically minded therapist, my role is to support you by providing you with a safe and confidential space to find a way forward. This space is built on integrity and trust. Your capacity to feel accepted, validated and understood are values that I place at the core of my work. I typically work within a person-centred framework and have the benefit of additional training to use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy should this approach feel more appropriate. Because you need to feel confident that I am the right therapist for you, I offer all new clients a FREE 15 minute telephone consultation to discuss any concerns you may have before scheduling your initial consultation. To find out more about how I work, please view my website. I look forward to supporting you soon.
