About me and my therapy practice
Do you need someone to talk to? There can be times when you feel overwhelmed and powerless, and now you’ve taken the decision to reach out for help. My priority is to make you feel safe and comfortable enough in the session to be able to talk freely about whatever is bothering you, about whatever you’re feeling. That can be quite a daunting prospect. Maybe you’ve never really had the opportunity to explain your innermost thoughts and feelings to someone who cares. I’ll give you the emotional support you need, and help you to understanding what’s going on. You’ll find it liberating, and it will be the start of a major journey of healing and self-discovery.
I’ve a lot of experience dealing with trauma and anxiety, as well as emotional difficulties in childhood and early adulthood, and how these play out in adult life, in relationships, at work, and in social situations. I use a variety of methods including EFT, trauma work, dream work, body work, creative imagination, mindfulness and meditation.
I also incorporate some of the hugely important advances in neuroscience which have been made in recent years. This enables us to understand how the nervous system works and responds to anxiety and trauma.
I am seeing mainly online clients at the moment, and I have found that working online has proved to be remarkably effective.
I also see clients in person at the CCPE, near Paddington station.
I am available during the day and early evening on weekdays.
My first session
I offer a free first session for you to ask me any questions, get to know me a bit better, and get a sense of whether you feel you could work with me. I look forward to working with you to release you from whatever is holding you back in the past, to enable you to develop to your full potential in the present, and face the future with confidence.
