About me and my therapy practice

With a background in the arts working in the film and television industry and as a musician, I offer counselling with people experiencing unhappiness in all sorts of ways and have never yet come across anyone who's distress or anxiety or sadness didn't make sense once we had talked about it for a while.

Everybody is different and special, but has in common the need to be heard, recognised, valued and understood. As a fully qualified BACP registered person-centred counsellor trained at the Metanoia Institute those four things are at the heart of my practice. Whatever your worry, concern, or difficulty, sharing what is on your mind and in your heart in a safe space is the start of healing and self-acceptance.

Practice description

My Approach

I offer a trustworthy, open, safe, and non-judgemental space in which to explore your thoughts and feelings. We cannot change our past, but we can change our relationship with it, and become freer to be the person we want to be now. The healing space I offer provides the conditions within which to grow.

I understand that finding a therapist you can trust and feel comfortable with can be an important step within counselling. This is why I offer a free, initial assessment where you can get to know me a bit more and ask any questions you have.

I find nothing more satisfying and am always grateful to clients with whom I have worked, who allow me to share a journey with them and allow me into their worlds, into their darkness as well as their light and meet me at depth. Building a working relationship that feels safe and gives them the confidence to explore the issues that are troubling them.

Asking for help is a vulnerable step, but one that I believe is very worthwhile.

Let's get together for a conversation and see how we can help you move forward.
