About me and my therapy practiceI am a psychodynamic psychotherapist. This means I can help you identify the gap between what you feel on the inside and what the world sees on the outside. We can work together to find ways for you to feel more fully yourself, and fully present in the world. I begin sessions with mindfulness breathing to help you quieten your mind. We then explore what is within. Anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, loss, grief, loss of identity or direction, whatever troubles you can be brought here. I have a Masters in Psychotherapy and 15 years experience with adults and adolescents. I work in central Oxford, in the Quaker meeting house, St Giles.
I am currently working on the phone not on zoom. The reason for this is in using video client and therapist spend a lot of time looking. On the phone, with headphones in, there is only listening and responding to what is said and not said. We can do initial sessions on zoom if preferable to you.
