About me and my therapy practice
My training was in Humanistic Integrative Counselling, which means that I trained across a wide range of different therapeutic approaches including, Person-Centred, Gestalt, Psychodynamic, Transactional Analyis & Transpersonal. When working with clients I adopt the most appropriate approach - depending on the client and depending on the issue presented.
I have been in private practice since 2005 and I have over 7 years' experience of working with mental health issues in the NHS. My specialist interest is working with mental health related issues - including generalised anxiety, panic attacks, depression, low self-esteem and confidence issues. I also have a special interest in working with addiction, abuse (physical & emotional), relationship issues, bereavement and loss.
I also work as an executive coach on work related issues, including stress management, maximising performance, bullying and conflict resolution.
My consulting room is in Islington (N1) - nearest tube station Angel (7 mins walk) and Highbury & Islington (12 mins walk).
