About me and my therapy practice
I offer a warm therapeutic relationship to try and enable personal change within a safe space where people can feel free to be. Everyone who is willing to embark on their personal journey is accepted and respected without judgement.
Practice description
I am an Accredited counsellor in training as Supervisor also. I currently work as a bereavement counsellor in a Hospice and child and young person counsellor mainly in schools as well as private counselling. I try to integrate various models of counselling to best fit each individual.
My first session
The first session usually outlines the needs and wishes of each individual as we assess how we can best work together. An agreement to how we proceed would be agreed with no obligation to continue should this be the decision, of course. Sometimes a family member is present to support for part of the initial session if required.
