About me and my therapy practice
You may be feeling low, anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck. Or you may be a couple struggling with your relationship. Life does not feel as good as it could be. If so, I can help you. It can be hard to manage distressing emotions or address negative thoughts and behavioural patterns, on your own. I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor and I support individuals and couples in improving their well-being.
I have successfully helped a very diverse range of clients with anxiety, stress, depression, low self esteem, health worries, addiction, bereavement, relationship difficulties, family issues, infertility and many other challenges.
Whilst I work with clients on a very wide range of issues, I specialise in working with clients facing anxiety. Some of my clients suffer anxiety about particular issues or triggers, and many are living with a more chronic generalised anxiety disorder. I help clients with immediate anxiety management strategies and then work with them to relieve the deeper issues causing their anxiety.
Finding a counsellor can be daunting. I appreciate this, but it can also be one of the best things you can do for yourself. I am a friendly, professional and effective counsellor and work in a relational way, at your pace. Clients feedback that I am warm and insightful.
I have trained at the respected Minster Centre and supplemented this with a variety of additional learning, including at Tavistock Relationships, both based in London. I have also had a previous career in senior management.
I am available on weekdays, day times and evenings, and Sunday evenings, working from a bright and comfortable room, with easy access to the tube, buses and parking. I charge £60 for individuals and £75 for couples and offer a 50% reduced fee for the first session.
Whilst I usually see clients face to face I also offer telephone and online video counselling. In these unprecedented times, with heightened anxiety about Coronavirus and social distancing, I can offer you the support you are looking for, without the need to meet in person.
