I offer Counselling to individuals who are experiencing difficulties, past and present, providing a safe therapeutic space where you can explore your concerns in a confidential and supported environment. The aim of our work together is to find positive outcomes for your concerns, working towards positive change and helping you achieve a more fulfilling life for yourself.

I also currently work in a Further Education College, working predominantly with young adults who are struggling with many challenges such as anxiety, depression, addiction, substance misuse, self & identity concerns, low self-esteem, self-harm, relationship difficulties, loss, abuse, neglect, academic worries amongst many others.

I am an ASIST trained first-aid intervention caregiver and am able to offer support to individuals at risk of harm.

Practice description

Counselling for Individuals: Supporting you to achieve a more fulfilling life.

I am able to offer face to face and telephone counselling to individuals who are experiencing difficulties and who are needing extra support in overcoming them.

I work with individuals to empower them, and to help them achieve a more fulfilling life. I provide one-to-one support, working together to explore concerns in a safe and confidential therapeutic setting.

Each session will last around 50 minutes, usually offered weekly which can be adapted to suit individual needs. Home visits are available at £45.00 per session, locally.

My first session

First sessions can take  up to an hour.  We will spend some time getting to know each other, providing you with the opportunity to see if you wish to continue working together as you take the first step in sharing your story. We will discuss the contract and expectations of counselling and agree how we will work together, taking time to find out your needs and what you are hoping to achieve.
