About me and my therapy practice

Welcome. You may be going through a difficult time, experiencing painful emotions, or struggling with relationships. Perhaps you feel that you are unable to resolve these issues alone. Counselling can give you the opportunity to make sense of these feelings. I draw from a range of counselling approaches, offering a warm, non-judgmental space where you can explore difficult feelings.

I offer short- and long-term therapy depending on what is right for you, and you can end at any time although I would recommend that you let me know in advance so that we can work through the ending together.

I offer sessions at the Practice Rooms in Clifton.

I am a fully qualified practitioner and a BACP registered member.

My first session

Our first session is an opportunity for us to decide if we think we will work well together. I will ask you what you think is important for me to know about who you are and what you hope to gain from therapy. I'll tell you about the way that I work, and what you can expect from our sessions.

We will also cover confidentiality, payment, the cancellation policy and the counselling agreement.

Counselling can give you the opportunity to make sense of these feelings. I draw from a range of counselling approaches, offering a warm, non-judgmental space where you can explore difficult feelings.

I believe that the client holds the answers, and using a person-centred approach I will work alongside you, to help you discover your true self. Together we can explore how past experiences may be affecting current behaviours, patterns, and ways of being, and by making sense of your past help you come to understand where you are today.

I offer short- and long-term therapy, depending on what is right for you, and you can end at any time although I would recommend that you let me know in advance so that we can work through the ending together.
